Prototype Emotion #1

'Prototype Emotion #1' is a physical rendering of a deeply felt primal emotion. It is a slick, fleshy, coil giving off defensive electrical sparks, a literal gut reaction. This is 'The Thing' that lives in the darkness of our emotional cupboards, and springs into action whenever we are triggered. 
 

Exposed and vulnerable, the emotion's defensive sparks are an attempt to keep it safe. It's flashing lights scan constantly for danger, changing pace with the perceived threat. It's glistening barbs are acupuncture needles, both sharp and healing.
